1. ADDING CTA'S AND INFOGRAPHICS

CTA: Direct users to actions the business needs them to complete.

Infographics: This will make methodologies and concepts more engaging and simpler to understand.

This will increase the understandability of the information provided by the website, making it simpler, clearer and more specific, as well as simplify the navigation. 

3. EMPHASIZE BUSINESS ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND CREDENTIALS

This will increase the leap2genius.com websites credibility and make users more inclined to trust in the methodologies. Our client has an extensive list of credentials and many years of experience, however, the current experience does not reflect that. By emphasizing these credentials and accomplishments, we hope to increase trust in the website experience and services offered.

4. BRANDING AND VISUALS

Aligning the branding and visual will help match the personality of the product to its founder and target audience. Reflecting the engaging disposition of the brand, while still grounding the information and methodologies in credibility.

FROM OUR RESEARCH WE FOUND

Most users felt vulnerable when going through major transitional periods in their lives 

What they most needed from the desktop website experience:

  • Reassurance from others ~ testimonials & recommendations

  • Trust ~ Credibility of service and methodology

  • Value for time and money ~ what they would get in return

These users-groups would represent our target user base. This information would help inform our design solutions.

OUR SOLUTION NEEDED TO SATISFY THE NEEDS OF BOTH PARTIES INVOLVED, NAMELY THE BUSINESS, AS WELL AS OUR USERS.

 

MAJOR DESIGN DECISIONS AND ITERATIONS

Usability Testing was conducted at each stage of the process. This allowed us time to make key iterations and stay on track to solving our users and business needs.

1. Navigation

  • Navigation labels were made more self-explanatory, with verbs added to indicate the action that would take place. 

  • CTA's were added directly to the primary navigation to attract user attention and encourage engagement.

  • We found that our users were very interested to have more information regarding the methodologies Leap2Genius uses during their services. Thus a designated methodology page was added to inform users on methods and procedures.

2. Home page and content strategy

  • Infographics and CTA's were created and added to the homepage directly. This made information and methodologies more digestible by users and increases user engagement.

  • Testimonials and major previous clients were added to the homepage to increase trust and credibility of the service. 

  • Content and text was summarized and copy edited to make information and methodologies more understandable for users.

3. About page

  • To increase credibility, we made the founder's credentials and expertise easy to find.

  • Photography was updated to make the imagery more relevant.

  • Placeholder for a video, where Leap2Genius describe their protocols and methodologies.

SUCCESS MATRIX

Increased user engagement and decrease time used to complete flows

Overall, the Redesign of the website was well received by users and we observed increased engagement in terms of time spent on the website and time interacting with the website’s content.

 

Major changes made:

  • Navigation button titles: Users were still unsure what the labels meant during our initial our testing, however, final iterations seemed to be more intuitive and understandable, decreasing time spent on user flows to accomplish specific tasks.

  • We also highlighted the 2 things Aliki wants people to do i.e. Take the Assessment & Contact her for consultation. Users found these tasks intuitive and spent more time learning about products and services offered by Leap2Genius.

 

Happy clients.

The website redesign concepts and ideas were received with overwhelming enthusiasm and positive feedback from our client. She was excited and couldn't wait to finish up the final outstanding assets, so they could be added to the design, so the website could be implemented for development. She also appreciated our ideas and suggestions for next steps and wants to collaborate for future design implementations.

 

Next Steps

There are still many features that could be added... For our Next steps we would:

  1. Implement membership functionality (on-boarding)

  2. Design and implement the complete Genius Assessment

  3. Add E-commerce functionality for assessments and workbooks

  4. Clearly separate individual and corporate genius methodology

  5. Implementation for development
